I haven't ever run a blog before, mostly out of lack of interest since everyone else seems to be doing it, but since I've gotten more into collecting and displaying my Breyer model horses, I thought I'd share my journey from noob to experienced show champion ( I hope I get to be a champion one day ). I started collecting Breyer's when I found a dusty old yellow & blue box at an antique doll/miniature dollhouse and teddybear museum. Now, I've always loved equines ( read: obsession ) so when I saw this lovely model I just had to have him. I purchased 'Big Ben' and have been collecting Breyer's ever since. I haven't done a total carpet herd tally yet, so I will do that. I have a bunch of models being shipped to me from various parts of the US right now so I have to wait til everyone arrives and makes it through shipping first.
